The Bookmark Project is an interactive art project created by poet and artist, Debbra Palmer. Palmer's project invites LGBTQ+ people with ties to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to add their personal handmade or form-generated bookmark to be placed between the pages of a copy of The Book of Mormon. The result will be a multimedia paper and mixed fiber art piece that visitors can touch and read the personal messages on the bookmarks. Calls for submissions (of bookmarks) are open TO EVERYONE including former, practicing or otherwise affiliated Mormons. By placing the bookmarks in the volume we are holding space together regardless of our status or belief in the church.
